Vienna bricks goes Madison Square Garden!!!
Saturday I wanted to take a study break until the afternoon
- and it was a good timing as Women's Basketball took place at the gym of my university! That was.... well... it was Basketball, not so exciting! On the right you see our gym with a great Ram-logo together with the famous "F" on the floor - and a cheerleader performance!
But what was great there - was that they gave away free tickets for the Men's Basketball game at Madison Square Garden! As I haven't been there so far and it's on my "must do in NY" list, I decided to extend my study break until Sunday. I tried a few colleagues to do the same - unfortunately in vain. Only an austrian friend (Dominik - you might remember him..) joined me for the matchup of the year Fordham University - St. Johns.
Just for notice... Fordham Basketball is not that great. 2 Years ago Fordham didn't won one game and so the coach (highest paid employee at the university...) got obviously fired. The partner university in South africa offered "We coach your team for free - and won't do any worse!!!" (how could they? :D).
So after having lunch in true "Little Italy" (which is just next to Fordham University!) I just got an important accesoire and we went midtown...
to make VIENNA BRICKS enter Madison Square Garden (and I got an awesome hat as you can see :D)
