Impressions from a rainy day in New York
Two days more until classes start... so I had the idea to enjoy the wonderful morning (weather was real nice!) and go south to get my first glimpse of the statue of liberty!!! However, when I got out of the subway, it was raining cats and dogs! Most people were running down or fleeing into the cafes... not me!! I opted to go to the statue from the station I left (near WTC) - and so I started on am empty street (awesome!!!). That's pretty much the story... so enjoy the pictures and leave a comment ;)
Me and the Bull!! Funny Fact: He is just standing on the ground and sometimes people pull him over (Occupy Wallstreet?!? - thanks Pia ^^)
The new "World Trade Center". It's called Freedom Tower! However, next to it traffic was regulated by NYPD using chains... so much about Freedom...
It was really raining...

leaving Manhattan Island on the ferry

and getting an awesome look over Manhattan Island (the big building to left is the "Freedom Tower"
and on the way back on the subway, I saw this aaaaaaaaawesome ad about steak... well it is about beer, but all this steak stuff made me hungry. Btw, I forget to mention a cool thing about the Reno experience.
At the Gateway Orientation I ate 3 times Steak... really good one and of course: US Size ;)however, I went with a few colleagues from the residence to Dunkin Donuts... and what do you see here? ;)
