Two great soccer games...

... but two Losses!!!

I'm sure everybody knows of the first one... WM-Qualification Austria vs Germany. I even went to an Australien Pub to see it! It started great, cause already on the way there I say this truck on the street... a sign of Austrian Greatness!

When I came there with my austrian flag and T-Shirt, i was welcomed by some other austrians... so again not alone!

I enjoyed the game with american food (Buffalo Wings + Fries) and was cheering, as we had a lot of chances... However, before the halftime, the beginning of the end approached. 1-0 for Germany in the 43th minute... SCREW IT... yeah...

Shortly afterwards a unjustified penalty kick for Germany (as it was offside...)... but there it was, 2 goals against the good ones!

Nevertheless we went on having incredible chances and what was even more incredible... we shot a goal!! Anyway that was it and even after two Must-Do-It chances... the end result was 2-1 for Germany.

The second game was maybe not on TV globally, but not less important. The Schwalbenballaz against The Who's Tommy... Guess what's my team? Schwalbenballaz of course, as we play in honor of our Prof. Dr. Schwalbenberg, Head of IPED! It also started quite good... Because most players actually had class until 9:20 pm while the game started at 9pm. However, as I asked the prof in the name of the IPED Soccer Team to finish earlier, we left class at 8:55, took a quick warm-up sprint to Murphy Field and played a great game. The only problem.. our age as one of our oppenent said:

Oh IPED is a grad study... that's why you all look so old!

So now it's official.. I'm an oldie ;). However it was fun and even though we lost 2-3 we are looking forward to next weeks game... As I forgot to took care of a picture there, I will end with two views I say today on the bike:
