Taking a look at sandy
Most likely, that's part of the experience: hurricane Sandy hits New York! Luckily it is not so bad where I'm staying - so I just went out to take a look at the storm myself.
Almost everything is closed today - except the 24/7 store accross the road. So I was able to get something, I didn't stocked yesterday: Beer&Chips 
What is most special about this picture? Right - no cars on the street
The west drive is already flooded and the police is prepared to close the street in a few minutes...
To sum up.. yeah its windy and yeah its raining and yeah its a lot of water... However I'm lucky not to be in the dangerous zones and will therefore hide out in my residence and go on studying...
