Kayak on Hudson River
Why do I get up at 6:30 on Saturday Morning?
Sports - nothing else! This time it was kayaking on Hudson River, organised by the Downtown Boathouse and guess what - for free!!
As a New Yorker told me, everything that's for free is crowded... and to avoid having to many people, the organizers did a lottery! We have been 4 IPED students (thats what we trying to write on the picture!) going from Pier 96 to Hoboken - my first steps into New Jersey (sorry to all New Yorker ^^).
It was quite exciting as there was a strong wind, a storm coming up and also big boats on the river making huge waves... cool stuff for little kayaks ;).
For the whole time we could enjoy the clouded skyline of Manhattan
